How to find help

The biggest single is financial, of course. Disabled by non-combat, work related injuries (got a bad deal from Workmen's Comp) complicated by age. Simply cannot work, period, due to physical condition and side effects of multiple meds. Supplies of any necessary resource would ease the burden; food and possibly at-home medical care. Looking for any other programs to assist with housing costs, drug costs. State is Virginia; any more precise location I can only give thru pm right now. Willing to put my time and resources into this, but I'm kind of jacked myself and it won't be enough on my own. Enough guys to help with some needed handicapped related home improvements or help with lawn care would be a help as well, just occurred to me.

VFW is the best bet for a VSO, otherwise many times there's a lot of other social worker agencies that provide direct support to vets, my step daughter does that work in NC. Start with the VFW or AmVets, whatever is in the area, they will know what is available in the community and who to contact for support.

I called you yesterday to offer local helpp but no reply.

If there's no reply its because I'm dealing with this thing in my brain. I'll get back when I can, sorry, it's frustrating when a change in the weather leaves me all but incapacitated. BTW, thanks for all your help, you've been the best resource in helping this guy; props to the Maggot all around.
