My sope got tweaked in shipping - how can I straighten this out? Are there any tricks? It still works perfect and I don't want to wreck it bending something wrong.

USPS but not their fault. Improper packaging by the shipper. Scope was just in a box loose with one (yes one) piece of paper around it.
I'm in Canada and these SWFA are really hard to come by so I am keeping it and putting the cover on! Great idea.
I had a seller ship a scope detached from the rifle, loose in the box, and without any padding on the scope. Needless to say, the scope did not arrive in good condition. Good thing it was a cheap scope I wasn't planning on keeping.
Some people need to learn to ship with proper packaging or not skimp out on it.

So you received it in Canada via USPS? I hope it does not have a mil reticle (though I think they all do), or the person had State Dept. approval.
Using a hole saw (or something similar) try to match the outside diameter of the objective bell and make a "cradle" to accept the scope's damaged area. Then using a wooden dowel (I use a piece of linen micarta that works great)that is slightly curved at its edges and tap from the inside out of the objective bell. Repeat the process while moving the dowel to get a smooth look.
With a dent that is not sharp, or has a crease to it, I have successfully used a dent puller from the autoparts store to pull a dent in an objective. Using anything metal or pounding on it with a hammer will just scratch the finish and ruin your threads, making it impossible to use your sun shade. These pullers are cheap and easy to use and will no F-up the scopes finish. Get it as close as possible with the dent puller and then try screwing the sunshade in to the objective. This methoed worked on my Sightron SIII that I bought in ebay that arrived with a dented obj.
Find a camera repair shop and see if they can remove the dent. They have a tool they use to fix dented lenes and filters on photo gear. I have done it and had the tool but can't find it.
Look for a Porters photo catalog they may still sell them. Good luck.
I called SWFA they said to call Bushnell and so I went to the warranty center today. They straightened it for me while I waited - for free.
They used an expanding tool thing.
Thank you for all the advice. If they could not / would not do it I was not going to try myself. I am a few levels BELOW Homer Simpson when it comes to handy man skills.
