tricks, experiences? Have a hard time to attract coyotes with my new primos alpha dogg predator call. Sometimes coyotes called backed back but never got closer.

You’re not doing anything wrong. You’re just not doing enough right.

Mating season is starting. You’ll have to play sounds that either call them in for play time or challenge them for their mate/mating territory.

The other good thing happening for them now is that the food isn’t as plentiful so dying animal noises may work as well, but don’t just stick with the dying rabbit as they’ve all heard it before.

Pay attention to what’s going on through the year and adapt to it.

Calling coyotes is rewarding. Look at all other game and they have a weakness you can exploit. Yotes can, hear, see smell better than you and they are smart. It took me a long time to get a successful stand. But after you get it to work a couple times you'll learn why it worked.

They always try to get down wind of your caller. And they almost always stop and look back on their way out.

Keep trying and good luck.

one other tip, turn your volume down. if it seems loud to you, its too loud.
Amen when they get 200 yards away and hang out at the edge of the trees I’ve noticed a lot of times it’s too loud. Also OP make sure you’re seeing them before they’re seeing you. A good pair of Binos helped me notice a lot more success doing the exact same thing.

Keep volume set right and do leave a stand too early. Have had some take a very long time. Had one that barked back and forth with me for over 1 hour. Then rushed in at 90 yards and then started barking more for like 5 minutes. Was cool since I had a first time predator hunter with me. He blew the shot though, coyote fever I guess.
