Just wanted to post this for future references, I bought a new HCR in 308 it's very nice for the price, I'm still in load development but so far I think its great, but it came with the accurate mag 10 rounder. At first I thought man this is awesome a nice factory 10 rd metal mag plus the nice chassis rifle, however I quickly realized unlike the rifle the mag is a pos, at first it GOUGED the cases, then I polished the lips, I tried bending the lips for better contact to the case but nothing I ever did made it feed smooth and not scratch the case, I don't care if the scratching is superficial or not I have around 300 dollars in lapua cases that I use in the gun, and I don't want them being scratched. Anyway long story short I read around and saw that some where able the get them to not scratch badly but I also read the hide review of the one in 6.5 and saw that magpul mags were also used so I ordered one, what a difference it made. Part #mag549. Made a huge difference, 35 bucks, no scratching at all and feeds extremely smooth. Just an fyi, I don't want to be hateful but you shouldn't have to file on a new piece of equipment like that.
