Howa Long action and Tikka T3 LA DBM now avail

Hi guys. Im making some Howa 1500 LA 300 WM/338 lapua DBM systems. I will have pics shortly.

Also have a few Tikka T3 300 WM DBM avail as well. Will make more shortly. these will work with anything longer than 308, up to 3.450" or so(there are some limitations to T3 action that wont allow full length rounds in the mag(3.600") at least without more mods to the action.. call for details.

We also have the Mauser 98 Large ring as well..in 223/308 box mag size. I will be running more of these short.y as well.

How about 6.5X55 for the Tikka T3?

Will it work with the magasines?

Is it good to go, without magasine modification?

What kind of magasine is it? Is the max C.O.L 3.600" for 6.5X55 in the Tikka T3.

Hi, we don't require any magazine mods(other than feed lip adjusting for smaller rounds, from 300 WM to 30-06, etc)

We use the AI-AW 300 Win mag magazine.

there is a bit of limitation in the T3 action for longer rounds. One is the size of the bottom mag well opening..this cam be modded by notching the feed ramp some. but there is a limit on what you can do.

3.400" or so will be the limit, due to action design(this isn't really a great design for long rounds, they should have made it 1/2" longer). another limitation is the size of the shell port. with longer rounds(3.5") the rounds get stuck in the action, as the bullet tips hit the ejection port. Port notching is needed to remedy this.

I hope this helps. they are a bit limited, but it still is a great platform for normal rounds.
