Nice guys! I should re-do my thread on what it takes to modify the AICS style chassis for the 2500XR. It really becomes a great platform! It has all the right parts, should be a hammer. Get us some range reports when you get time.

We built it, we build Custom Rifles every day!

We have test fired it, but have not shot it for groups yet.

    Soon!

It's not nice to post without a price!

Just kidding, I do know your nice, still when you post up something like this you ought to post the number is would cost to take one home.

Very nice. That's right in the range of what these rifles are going for. Seems like Europtic was doing a special run of trainers with Stiller actions and Manners stocks like the one I got and they were right there in that range.

What chamber specs have you guys decided to use on these: what reamer, any particular bullet in mind, if so where is the bearing surface in relation to the lands (how much are you jamming them)?

    Lee,
I found a surplus stock for my 2500XR build on Manners' inventory list last year - it was a T4A in their Elite shell that they'd made for the Euro Optics run of custom trainers built around the 2500XR. For whatever reason, EuroOptic didn't want/need it, so the folks at Manners listed it, I found it, and it wound up on my rifle. It had molded-in GAP camo finish, which I thought looked great with the black bbl'd action (I left the Stiller action black, since it has a nitrided finish that I didn't want to blast off, so I used CK graphite black on the Krieger bbl). Of course the inlet was correct for the Stiller's trigger hanger, but it's no big deal to cut for that if you were to find a stock you like with M700 inlet. The only downside to the stock I bought was that the bottom inlet was done for the custom Seekins BM that EO had them design for their run of rifles, and there were no more of those units available. I had to buy a std Seekins CF DBM & machine the mag well down to near flush to get it to fit into the shallow inlet for the EO BM. It all worked out quite nicely...point is, Manners has modeled the inlet for the Stiller action, so ordering a stock from them should be a pretty simple & pain-free route to go.

Yes this is a very nice stock ;)
