How's this TRG 42 deal?

Re: How's this TRG 42 deal?

If you got the Sako bipod, not shabby at all (they run about $400), the brake alone is about $200. You didn't mention what the caliber was but if it was the .338 you likely won't have much success with 300 grain bullets due to the twist rate, newer models are 10". Not to worry though, 250 gr. Scenars shoot extremely well.

Oh, this must be where we get the jealousy.....oh ok, found it. You did well bro, the best I could find was 2700.00 for a bare rifle (no pic rail, bipod, brake or box). There is still plenty of life left in that barrel so take her out and have some fun with her....

Re: How's this TRG 42 deal?

I found mine on Gunbroker as well.. IT was a Green one in 338 with phosphate coated 1in10 barrel. Has the brake,Wide bipod, sling, extra mag, optilock mount, 20MOA pic rail in the package. It had 17rounds of Lapua through it and I got the brass and a new box of Hornady 250gr... The guy was getting married and was needing cash to pay for wedding. He had the gun listed as T R G -42 .. With it listed this way it would not show up through the normal search.. I just happened to stumble upon it while searching 338.
