Gunsmithing hs precision stock?

how far is too far before one is thrown out??
I have a hs stock that is in need of help (pevious owner got carried away with a dremel..

I have attempted to close some of the gaps with devcon..
Is it possible to fill the entire channel up and have it milled out again/ cost to do this??

need it to fit rem 700 sa 5r with badger m4 floorplate

Full length bed, including barrel channel with tape wrapped on barrel to the thickness of your liking. Once you remove the tape, the gap will be uniform. Clean it up and paint.

Go to my you tube channel suar08161991, find the video that shows this exact procedure. This will work very well, and you will end up with a very uniform amount of free float around the barrel once you remove the .020 mill pasco plumbers tape. You can put three wraps around the barrel, and it will look great. Best of luck.
