OK, while waiting on my B & C I decided to try my hand at painting the OEM ADL stock in camo. Since it will most likley be donated to a hunting setup, I made a run at woodland camo. The Choate I have on the aught six right now will get a desert Camo and the B & C is coming marbled (OD Green & 10% black). The woodland camo was practice to get a feel for the layering and application of the Krylon. I decided to finish coat it with clear coat since I am giving it away. I was actually pleased with the results... Suck ass camera phone pics.

Re: Hunting Camo

Great job! It's very easy, so easy it gets addictive

This is my latest. It's a slug gun I took a deer with at 125 yards a couple years back up in Delaware (shotgun only state).

Yep, I agree.. I added the clear coat at the end to protect the finish because it will never be mounted again on my stick. Just used the OEM stock for practice.

Big Brown delivered my B & C stock yesterday, so I am going to pull the Choate and attempt a Desert Camo on it. The B & C is set up for a detachable mag and is already finished in a OD Green with 10% black marbling. When I do the swap, I will probably take a crack at adjusting the trigger and bed down the stock.

Just killing time waiting on the Kreiger to arrive. 22 weeks seems like an eternity..
