Currently waiting on a job in SC but looking at another job in Huntingdon PA. Anyone live in the area? Fairly safe? Taxes bad? Ive been through a lot of PA and didn't mind it.

Don't know anything about Huntingdon, but there is a 1000 yd club range with very reasonable dues not far away.
A friend of mine lives in PA over by the Ohio border, lots of cute older small towny kind of places, Amish wagons, slow moving cars on the highway. Hunting is huge there, pretty sure they limit it to shotguns and bows because so many people will be hunting the same small areas.
Huntingdon looks very pretty on Google Earth but keep in mind they get lots of rain, snow and property values are low so if you buy a house there it will be hard to sell it sort of thing.
