Screaming deal on the Rad45. Anyone with any experience?

I don't mean to hijack this thread, but I am searching for Hux/OSS reviews and experience, specifically the RAD 22. I already have the bolt guns covered with a couple sparrows now I need one for pistols and semi auto. Im curious if the flow through design is realized on 22lr, or if the pressure is just too low to make it noticeable.

How does the RAD 22 work on a pistol?
Is there noticeably less blowback vs a traditional can?

I'm shopping for another 22 can and the RAD is at the top of the list if it helps keep a semi auto a little cleaner

I have one, the newer version, I like it a lot. You see a huge cloud of smoke come out of the muzzle that I don’t see with my rugged mustang. Putting equal-ish rounds through both (probably more on the oss) the Mustang was way dirtier. It’s easy to assemble whereas the mustang is kind of a pain to get then baffles aligned just right. Sound is about the same but the oss is more of a psshh air hose disconnecting sound where the mustang is more of a pop if that makes sense (oss is a longer duration). The only con is it feels heavier than advertised, it’s a little bit of a chonk, the mustangs weight is amazing. Build quality on both is really high. The design definitely works, although it might not be necessary, running cleaner is never a bad thing.

I like using the mustang on my sr22 to keep it a light weight package and the rad22 on my beretta 70s to not beat up the older gun.

For anyone interested, other than a great deal on the Rad 45, everything else appears to be only $1-200 cheaper than regular street prices.
