I must say that after shooting the Viper Skins for a few weeks while I waited on the skins... I REALLY missed the stock AI skins. It feels much more comfortable to me than the Viperskins. I'll probably give the VS one more try as they are coming out with an extended handgrip piece, but if that doesn't work... blue light special on aisle 4!!!

Re: Hydro Dipped AICS finally back

Unfortunately, I can't recommend who did mine... great guy and did fantastic work but he is way backed up and we had a few complications that had to do with turn around time... thats why I have the Viper Skins.

I would search the Hide for someone. Cost should be in the $150 range depending on the coating they put on to protect it.

It seems very durable but my .22 is babied so I don't give it a whole lot of testing on the finish.

Very nice looking dip job. I appreciate you responding to my offer RR. Unfortunately for me I have a 2.0 so some other lucky member might get the Skins.

May I ask why, the viperskins make my AI much easier to get into so to speak.

Re: Hydro Dipped AICS finally back

The grip is too short and too thin for me. Kinda like a standard AR grip.

I also prefer the extra stock side area to lay the heel of my hand.
