So, I mounted my newbie Vortex on my Savage 6.5 Swede caliber....and I'm thinking...OK...the scope needs to be "tilted" down in the front so that I will have a bunch of "room" to move the reticle "up" for making a 900 or 1,000 yard shot.
Sooooo....I mount the scope, and once I get it bore sighted I didn't pay attention to how high the turret was.....Sooooo I zero it in and it shoots great at 200 and 300 yards.
But then I look at the turret and it's almost at the top. Then I search the inter-woven-net to find a pic of an actual scope mounted on a 20 degree cant (I'm using Burris Zee's) and that's practically impossible. (I'm a "I need to see a picture" kind of guy)
So....I figured I'd post this and let the world know that I can't be the only "reverse scope mount dumb ass" out there.
I mean......right? Right? Not just me? Right?
Well....maybe?
Dave....Errr.....Ralph.
