This is the first ammo I’ve purchased since the craziness started last year. I was walking through Academy yesterday evening, and as always, I meandered through the gun section. The guy and gal behind the gun counter was stocking ammo, 9mm, and some other stuff. Then he pulled out four boxes of 00 buckshot. I had to grab one of those boxes. 25 bucks for a box of 25. Then the lady behind the counter said, “There’s a two box limit, you sure you don’t want another?” Well, I couldn’t pass that up, so I took it and told her thank you. So, I got out of there with 50 rounds of buck shot for fifty bucks.

I was in Cabela's on Friday, and went in as I had time to kill. Wasn't really expecting them to have anything.

Went back to the gun counter, and there's a line for people buying ammo. Took me about a minute to get through to the counter, and they had multiple varieties of ammo, with a 5-box limit. They only had 3-boxes of 9mm with 124-gr bullet (Blazer Brass @ $18). Ask for those, then I look down and see Federal 205M's on the bottom shelf, and tell they guy, take these back, I'll take 5-packs of those. Pricey at $6 per, but at least they had them, and they weren't at GunBroker prices. They also had Small and Large Pistol Primers on the shelf.

Then went over to Scheels, and they had CCI 450's, and they were $50 per 1K out the door.

I think things are starting to come back, and hopefully I'll see Retumbo on the shelf again, and without a limit.
