I cant help big giggle every time I look at the targets I have been shooting with my first left handed gun. A Tikka T3x Tac A1 I ve been a hunter an shooter for more than 4 decades, but only had 1 rifle precision class from Tiborasuas Rex in late August this year. Right handed left eye dominant so shoot all long guns lefty. I took you alls advice when I asked awhile ago weather to get left or right hand gun. Ordered Monday 10/8/18 rifle arrived Wednesday afternoon from Zanders in IL, dressed it up with scope, (athlon ares etr) an bi-pod. Out of the box shooting Hornaday 129gr whitetail after sited in, shot 3 groups first .75 2nd .94 3rd 1.2 inchs. I only had 1 box at the time of hornaday 140 eld match. So ten rounds in the mag, shoot 2 more groups .433" and .472" each. End of shooting Thursday an the giggling began. Friday, after wiping the bore, 4 more groups with the 129 gr all were 1" an under an 2 groups with the 140 gr .41" an .45" receptively. A lot more giggling. Friday afternoon went to 3 ammo places an came back with only 3 boxs of the 140 gr eld. But I'm delighted to have it. Saturday (today) made up expected ballistic charts for both ammos an went to verify out to 600 yrds, far as I can shot till the crops are off. The 129 gr was .1 under at 600 yds but the 140's were dead nuts, an the 140's at 600 yds grouped at 2.6"s I have pics of all the groups for the last 3 days, an will make the effort to learn how to upload or post pics (what ever its called) to this posting. Lastly, I want to thank Frank for all he does here an his terrific reviews of the Tikka Tac a1, an everyone else that shared their knowledge of this rifle, because without it I might have bought something else an NOT had this kind of experience. My impressions of the rifle are its built very solidly, wouldn't say like a tank, but I cant see anything that I would change about it. I cant ever remember being able to say that before. Being that the handguard grip an buttstock are all AR compatible if I ever do want to change anything I'll have lots of options. The Plan is to take this rifle out to 1760 this winter. !!!
