At least they did not add a tactical flashlight & bayonet.

this is me shooting my flintlock blunderbuss at 100 yards last weekend. Note the removable M15 Grenade Launcher sight. With custom slugs it doesnt do to bad, Grouping around 6" or so. Good for storming the castle. If I get bored with that, pop off the sight, throw a handfull of 33 caliber balls in it and make kindling out of the target stand.

I picked up an unfired Shiloh Sharps today at a local shop. It had been ordered by a gentleman that then sold it due to a family emergency. He happened to be there and told me about the rifle and showed me all of the custom features he ordered. I'll get some pics up tommorrow.

I'd like to know whether it's Devcon bedded, what shade of cerakote that is, and why it's not sporting an Atlas. However, I think the most important question is, "Does that optic co-witness with the front sight"? LOL
Also, I think it might improve the "look" and lighten 'er up a bit if you threw some spiral fluting on that octagon.

For a second I thought that you were loading it with dimes, then I realized that that bag must be patches.

Yep, you are correct. Over powder and over wad cards and some cork wad for under the shot. Dimes may make make an interesting pattern though! (sadly a stack of them is still proably cheaper to shoot then most of my centerfire gun loads.)

Hate to say this but the bipod really isn't a bad idea, although the choice of optics leaves me more than a tad confused. I'm just praying that's not an actual Shiloh - an Italian clone might be fun to screw with though. I'd be worried about there being enough minutes in current a gen scope to handle a 45-70 or 45-110.
Saw "Quigley Down Under" in theaters, have wanted a Sharps ever since.
