I Got My Wyatt's Bottom Metal and Mag Today...

I got my Wyatt's bottom metal and 10 round mag today from Red Hawk Rifles and got it installed on my Remington 700 .308 w/ B&C A-5 stock. installation was a snap and didn't even take 5 minutes, including taking it back down to add 3 shims (supplied) and the mag attatches and detatches a little differently than I'm used to... and has a lot of back and forth slop. I'm really not too sure what to think of it yet as I haven't taken it to the range for a test.

After ordering, I have read many reviews some good, some bad. Although this thing looks super cool does anyone have any input on performance ? Pros ? Cons ?

does it feed reliably? Can you buy more mags?

I have the Wyatt on my Custom 700. I have had ZERO feed problems with it.

As far as feed reliability, I'm not sure yet...All my ammo is over at my buddy's house where we keep the reloading supplies. And for mags, they are available.

I plan on taking it to the range Monday so I'll be sure to post results as soon as possible...

...and it does, at least, look bad-ass. I'll snap some pics and post later on today.

It doesn't wiggle at all when it has ammo loaded into it.

Here's a few snapshots with everything in place. The mag was pretty difficult to attatch and detatch...a short blast of Remmy gun oil to the latch and it works like a charm, I may actually be able to remove one of the shims and remove a bit of the slop. As it sits, I am pretty happy...Range Day on Monday and I'll be sure. The magazine and bottom metal are built like a tank and appear very sturdy...
