right now, despite all the shit.......things are still pretty good here in America.....things are FAR from perfect, and we need to iron some shit out......but relatively speaking, on a day to day basis, shits isnt nearly as bad as the MSM wants you to believe........i mean, we can all wake up, go to a job of our choosing, work for our own pay, buy an AR15, go hunting, vote for our own president, read and say whatever we want............compared to other countries, weve still got it made.......so no need stir up for muster and storm main street just yet.
now that being said, weve got some shit going on......traditional american values ARE under attack, elements of our country are trying to erode all that is "american".......they are trying to re-write history to make all white men seem like racist bigots.......trying to turn our national anthem into a race issue.......and trying to erode the stable family model.
now i do believe a lot of this stems from the left and their collusion with with MSM.......it is no news to anyone that the left is promoting a lot of the issues with this country, from their blatant treason at points, to their race baiting, and their destruction of the family unit, and assault on american values.
now i believe they are doing this, because have self radicalized to the point, that they are becoming a totalitarian communist party, and the beliefs of communism do not mesh with american freedom.
so how do we fix this?.......well essentially its not with guns.....because the left will use that as a rallying cry against "the extreme right wing" and MSM will spin it just as they always do.......look at charlottesville for example.......essentially this is exactly what they want.
now dont get me wrong, im the first one willing to "throw down" to defend myself, and my country from violent overthrow (ie, what ANTIFA was threatening on Nov 4).........however that is honestly a measure of last resort.
so whats the solution......essentially we need to hold those politicians accountable for their crimes.......we landed a major victory in this by electing trump........an "outsider" who isnt covered in the filth of DC........DC knows this, and this is why they have been trying so hard to oust him.
what we need to do is to start to lean on trump, and have him actually hold these people accountable for their actions......because up until now, they have been able to act with impunity, and have been free to rain hell as they see fit. once a few of them get locked up for inciting violence, or treason, the rest will fall back into line.
essentially we need to actually make our voices heard and start voting in people who will do shit about it........not just those who "give the best speeches" or "have the most experience"......

Already been, my shooting starts 1-1.5 hrs before daylight an by daylight + 1hr I'm on the way home. Having the place to my/our-self is perfect. No interruptions while getting experience/data at night an early am is always a good thing.

Mike; Yeah, no kidding, turn off the idiot box! My wife and her friend were watching "House of Cards" with Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright. I don't have much use for her (Robin Wright) but up until the recent revelations about Spacey, I liked him as an actor (Usual Suspects, Glengarry, Glen Ross). I knew of the rumors (numerous and not very well hidden) of him being gay. I don't really care about anyone's orientation, until it crosses the line that Spacey's did. Anyway, I just couldn't watch HoC because of the roles (and how well they played them) they were playing. Washington DC can be mars as far as I know. Never been there, don't want to, never met any politicians (and don't want to). They are completely foreign to me. We have nothing in common. Having said that, HoC seemed to be eerily representative of the way the majority of swamp dwellers behave/conduct their affairs (not sure if I intended that pun or not.......).
The number of entertainers ("actors") that I have any interest in watching anymore is seriously dwindling. I'm finding other things to do with my time and I don't feel like I have to go take a shower like I do after I watch a TV show or a movie.

Ok i've said it before and I'll say it again.... this country is split 50/50 so why not just split the country. Now before the lynch mob comes to take me away... Let me put on my flame proof suit and hear me out... 50 % live by the liberal mindset and the other 50% live conservatively. I know this goes against everything a "United States" stands for but does anyone here really think there can be a resolution to any of the "issues" that both sides feel so passionately about. Honestly, what is going to make a crazed left communist socialist see reason about whatever dumb shit they are so passionate about. Same for us, is there is a magic promise or phrase that will allow us to relinquish the 2A? Give up our GOD, etc...NO. I know the logistics alone would seem to make this near impossible undertaking but really.....would it? You have a family that lives in a home in Cal that wants to move to the other side, there probably will be another family that wants to move to california. I'm sure internet entrepenears will create home swap businesss to help the wave of people looking to displace.
*The military bases stay put and everybody is still rotated through them to prevent localism
* The president is still the president His or her job really is now quite simple. (protect our country and our interests, collect taxes, and split the budget down the middle and allow the respective left and right "governors" to use the money to rebuild and maintain their respective infrastructures.
* Business's do not change (though i suspect some will )
* People do not HAVE to move, but they now have to obey the laws on whichever side of the country their on.

Ultimately we were fine, though. Calls still connected, though some of our carriers had issues, we still mined that shit, but violated SLAs out the ass. About 70k or so we're not gonna bill this month. If I got bonuses, that shit would be gone.

Yep the Lady (some kind of Champ I think?) who runs the place made a comment and I showed her my weight chart. She said at the pace I'm going I'll be there within 30-45 days w/o issue. Not a easy road at all, 4 days on (2X day) 1 day off. Watching what I eat an doing 30grs of Protein energy drinks after second work out of the day. Getting the cardio an muscle back was tough, but worth every oz of sweat an pain.
Don't have any SAT or cable, so did not know about that issue. Only time my phone rings off the hook is when there is a major power outage some were, and the local guys suck at reading a print, or knowing the chain of events to get black start shit up an running. Before retirement, it was a different story, though.

I don't see any civil war happening anytime soon. Now I am not saying groups won't come to blows, or even shots. Skirmishes could pop up, but I wouldn't call that a war. The government sure as hell won't be picking a side blatantly. They aren't the brightest, but they aren't stupid enough to do that because that would set off a real chain of events country wide regardless of their choice.

I was being myself a couple of weeks ago, on a business trip in New Orleans. One morning I went down bright and early for breakfast being my usual obnoxious self replying 'Excellent' (with enthusiasm) when asked how are you.
I noticed that there was something different from me and the rest of the wait staff, and my server absolutely noticed it too. She was less than enthusiastic about serving me until I asked her what it meant to get old. She asked me to repeat myself, so I did. She shook her head and said no. I replied that getting old was was listening to Stanley Clarke from School Days on Muzak. She looked at me like 'how the hell do you know Stanley Clarke". From that moment on, there was no MSM BS, just two folks who had more in common than they thought. I really hope she didn't think my usual tip was because of my White Guilt, or worse yet, my White Privilege. I tip because a long, long time ago I worked the back and front of the house and I make sure I take care of my "peeps".
