These hacked accounts sure seem very high in numbers. Almost like the forum server is being attacked. Or an inside job by an admin........ I said it. Lol

The number of members not using two-factor authentication is also high. Perhaps a correlation…
While nothing is impossible, I would first suggest the 2 most likely possibilities
They used the same passwords on another site that got hacked and folks buy up the lists and try the combinations on every website they can find.
The actual user got hacked / phished / trojaned and the scammers got the information directly from their computer.
I see both of these as least likely unless it's someone in the US that understands the culture. 3/4 of the "gun" people I know, wouldnt know a sr15 is more sought after then a mega home build. Or even what an sr15 is.
Hackers are trojan/phishing for CC info, bank cards, shit like that. Instant $ before they get caught and passwords get changed. Not going through each website you visit trying to sell stuff. They arnt spending years following so they can strike and get $950. Idk maybe I'm wrong.
I'd say far more likely people are posting their emails in ads and using guessable passwords.
