So I saw the drone over my house last night. Walked out on the back deck to finish my cigar and there it was about 300 feet up.

If A, then is was likely just a neighbor flying their drone for some fun. I would't worry too much about it.
I had that problem once! I pulled my pants down and started doing the helicopter with my dock. No problems since. Either they were alarmed or jealous. I won’t ever know which, but it worked.
