I wouldn't either. I didn't realize what your plans were. It sounds like you're light years ahead of me. I have plans to move into the suppressed playground but it seems like a big leap. I've been reading up on the hide about the tax stamp and the necessary trust. I have lots of questions but that's a whole other topic. Sorry for the useless suggestion and good luck with the hog extermination.</div></div>
Nahh, not useless lol. They are nicely priced, just don't have the options I want. As far as the tax stamp goes it's not too bad. It did take about 4 months to get it all done but its worth it.

Keep in mind these guns are a little on the heavy side, so you might want to keep it as light as possible if you're going to be stalking at all.
I have the 16" DPMS version. I absolutely love it, but it's on a diet.
My farm's about 25 miles east of Morgantown, WV. If you're in the area, you're welcome to check out my rifle. That might give you a baseline on what you want. Just don't get any drool on it :^) Also, please don't bring any hogs into the area, the deer are already killing me!
Enjoy,

Well the FNAR is about 10 lbs, what are we looking at on average for an AR-10?
Oh and I am in the Eastern Panhandle, all the hogs are down in the southern part. I just want something I can actually take on some bigger hunts. I did go to WVU btw, Morgantown is a fun place haha.
