Bought me a Dan Wesson Stainless Valor and a Les Baer P2 w/1.5" guarantee last week, then went to Vegas this past weekend for my bachelor's party... It was a GOOD week! I went to shoot some full-auto in Vegas for fun, and actually met and shot with Charlie Watson from "Sons of Guns" which were good times.


Will be picking up the Valor this Friday and then the Les Baer next Monday.


Once I get them I will definitely shoot them side by side to compare. Both are tight guns. The Valor's slide racks smoothly with just a hint of resistance at the barrel and bushing lockup. No side to side or up down movement in the slide and barrel lockup at all. The Les Baer was, well, a Les Baer... Even after almost 800 rounds the gun still locks up like a vault and I still had a bit of trouble racking the slide. The barrel to bushing fit is excellent as advertised. Can't wait to see what both guns can do...

Hahah nice...

I haven't followed the show for a long, long time, so not sure what all is going on now, but Charlie was very personable and cool to be around.
