Go to skdtac and check out the readytactical products. Mag pouches and holsters are handmade to specific gun by a guy in Alabama. Just about everyone that shoots big matches use his stuff. They are excellent quality and fairly priced.

Yes, I used the Blade-tech holsters, and the Comp-tac one's are nice, as well. There is also rules on the mag carriers. I ran a G35 in 40 S&W for SSP. I haven't shot IDPA in over a year, but it was lots of fun when I did.

People are going to laugh but before you spend a lot of money, you can play the game with a cheap ass Fobus holster for $20. It will get you buy for the short term. Gives you chance to get a feel for things anyway.

Not laughing at all. Thats what I've been using for the past year for IDPA and USPSA with at least a small degree of success.

I used to use a crappy uncle mikes, I recently got a Kramer, but the uncle mikes worked just a well. The nice thing about IDPA is that for under $500 for all of your gear, you can compete with or beat guys with custom 1911's. its a lot of fun, I hope you enjoy.
