Yesterday eating breakfast I heard the sound of the water valve for the toilet in the closest bathroom opening to run a few seconds of water.

I thought "Hmmm, that cant be good"

Guessing the flapper valve is no longer seating on the Toto.

A trip to the hardware store, some headscrtaching because I dont know what model toilet I have and of course not all flaps are the same.

I just bought the Toto universal one that lets you dial a drain height and went from there.

Change it out, drop in a blue dye pack, no more leaks.

Im thinking to myself how efficient I am and how lucky my family is to have me.

Than I think "If I was govt what would I have done?"

A. I probably would of ignored it for about another 6 months and not worry about the four figure water bill that I cant afford.

B. I would have went to the other bathrooms in the house and screwed with the flappers so they all leaked and everything would have been equal and thus correct.

I'm wasting my breath with you Ever Trumpers and Nationalists. The USA is the greatest nation on earth and ever will be. You folks enjoy it. My Plan B is to Flee depending on what happens the next 5 years or so.

The USA is doomed. We won't change and we think that the "rules" of commerce and Capitalism and all that from 1965 still applies today and that we will not compromise nor change nor incorporate new ideology, politics, or economics. All there is is Hate here now.

I’d be interested in hearing what these places are. I’m a long long way from retirement but I’m curious. I love my country but you are right, imo, depending on what you are looking for there are places better than the US. But it’s all in what you want. I’ve been around the world many times to all kinds of places and there are some countries that I think do some things better for sure but then there are other aspects that they do not. As far as the overall freedoms we have here, it is hard to beat that. So let’s hear it. Where you looking?

Here's my M21 replica. Sadly very soon it will be destroyed by the NZ government. Draconian firearms laws have been instituted in the wake of the Christchurch massacre. These will be the last photos of this tremendous rifle. The target picture is 11 shots rapid fire at 500m (all the ammo I had left at the end of the day). The target is known as a figure 11 so at this range the target is marked as 1 point higher than the ring value. RIP.
