I would honestly like to know why so many always include a shotgun in answers to these scenarios. I don't see the value unless you absolutely need to wingshoot or breach doors. Then again, I also look at AR15s, pistols, and multi-cal bolt actions as not being limited to one upper/barrel, so that may alter my perception a bit. Same reason I don't include a dedicated 22LR.
