If you didn't wanna break the bank on a Chassis witch one would you choose ?

If you didn't like a chassis what Stock system would you use ?

Over all this is going to help me limit down my over all idea for a Rifle with TL3 Action by Zermatt arms..

Way to many choices on the market with not enough hands on experience with greater success hopefully this will help.. Thank you

Personal, I like stocks as well !!! Looking at a few but nothing price worth of liking only if you spend over a grand...
Well you can get a Manners for less than that but then you need a trigger guard and have it bedded and you’ll be close to or over $1000, or get one with a mini-chassis in it. I used to have an EH1-A with a mini chassis and I think it was about $1100 new.

You’ll be hard pressed to find a stock with the adjustability of an equally priced chassis. Do you know what your LOP needs to be, so you can get square behind the rifle? Something to consider if you choose a stock without a spacer kit...

For an option that doesn’t break the bank, I’d go krg bravo 100%!

For something under 1000 the mdt acc is sweet! Love the whiskey 3 as well but believe it’s a bit more.

If it was a stock I’d look at a used manners. Tough to beat a manners

I recently went with a XLR element for a 22lr and have been liking it. Similar feel to the Xlr envy and you have the options of adding weight as you feel necessary. Pretty affordable and with most of this stuff it’s easy to sell if it’s not for you.

I have been a stock guy for years, McMillan, Manners, etc, I didn't like the look, feel or idea of a chassis.
I reluctantly took a KRG Whiskey 3 folder in on trade about a year ago.
Now it is my favorite setup and my first choice go to rifle.
My scores went up abt 25% and still improving.
And a Big shout out to the guys at KRG, they have Great customer service A+

I bought a MDT ORYX for my first one, like $400+ another $70 for z couple more mags. Fir the little competition shooting i do it is great.

If you wanting to stay in the tactical stock realm I would look in to ag composites. They offer a solid selection of different types of carbon fiber stocks. Ive never seen a bad word about them and depending on your options you will stay under a grand, but then there's bedding, bottom metal options if you wanted to go that way. Bedding it yourself is always an option, but I personally wouldn't use a 1000 dollar stock as my first try...

First, you need to know what action.
For example, the 700 action and its clones have a plethora of options available.
KRG Bravo, and X Ray are good choices, around the same price as the x ray is the Oryx.
Bell and Carlson makes some pretty nice stocks, but you'll have to add a DBM, which brings the cost up.
XLR has different levels of chassis available to fit different budgets.
Magpul has the Hunter stock, not really a chassis, but by all accounts a really decent option for a cash strapped beginner, the 700 PRO is a full fledged competition ready chassis available for just under a grand.
Other actions are going to likely have fewer options, but many still available.

I have a Manners T4a and I really like it. I bedded it myself and it shoots as well as I do! I’ve had it a couple years and I believe it was $650ish and there was a 2 month wait on it. I wish I’d have gotten the mini chassis but I believe it’s a good bit more expensive. I’ve only shot 1 full chassis setup and it was nice. I think I just like the look of a stock better. With the DBM you’ll be around $1k.

Manner seems to be a favorite...

Whats the difference on a mini ? The actual action ?

This is going to be paired with a TL3
