If you had $3500 to spend on a bolt gun setup

I put the vision forend on mine and is nice but I really like 20-22# rifles for the matches I have been shooting and it would be hard to get to that weight.

The TRGs are very accurate and I’m planning on using mine if I shoot Tac class matches since mine is 308.

Fan boys gonna fan. 😉
I won’t say that I’m not lol. I’m a big boy. I get a hard on every time I look at my gun.I don’t like ar-15 ergos that chassis try to replicate and I won’t buy ai because they supported “assault weapons bans” in the us so they can sell more bolt guns lol. I like McMillan tho.

Again glad you like your rifle and it gives you wood but recommending a used rifle that he has to spend part of his $3500 budget to fix the forend to shoot the sport and buy $225 magazines is not a good recommendation to the OP.

ChasingPro- your choice in post #7 is fine. Only thing I would change is a Defiance Tenacity, Arc Nuke, or Bighorn Origin. Save a couple hundred bucks. Buy a XTR3.
I would rather have high quality glass and a okish rifle than a great rifle with okayish glass.
XTR3
XRS3
Mark 5
Minox LR
There's other good glass But these are the ones I'm familiar with.

I ended up going with the MPA PMR pro II. I got the esr chassis with folding stock, mtu profile barrel. The mil discount was too good to pass up. Then I will throw my arken ep5 on it until i can find a good deal on something better. I also went ahead and bought the atlas v8 bipod to go with and weight kit. Still came out a few hundred below $3500. Thanks for the input everyone.
