I have him on my fantasy team. Haven't watched much Football this year (except my Sooners), but still enjoy keeping up with FF to talk shit to my buddies. The way my league is set up he scored 56.2pts for me lol. I'll admit the kneeling and shit has made me turn off the game a lot, especially the NBA this past year, but I do still like watching grown men play a child's game every now and then. I made this thread because I KNOW there are people on here who play fantasy football/watch the NFL/etc and I wanted to see how they were faring with that explosive performance. People can talk as high and mighty as they want but I guarantee that is the case. Now, that said, I align with your thought process on the kneeling situation. I think it's disrespectful and stupid HOWEVER, I--along with many of you--fight for the right for Americans to have a voice. Again, I do not agree with that minority, but I do love football and I know there are good Americans in the NFL. If you had to agree with every employee of every company you wanted to do business with, YOU WOULDN'T DO ANY BUSINESS.
That said, my principles are fine, and you would likely be surprised how far from "weak willed" I am.

That is basically all you are doing. supporting them and defending them. They had a chance to clean out, discipline, or otherwise punish the employees disrespecting the American flag and everyone who has ever fought, or died for it. They did nothing, therefore they supported it. You continue to support them, therefore you supported it.
So you can get fired up about amature athletes not getting paid but a League (and it IS supported by the League) that disrespects your Country is ok in your eyes.

Something to consider;
The NFL has suffered long term damage, if not having been destroyed before our very eyes. It was all part of the plan. The plan was and is to destroy as many of this Country's "institutions" as possible. The way the NFL situation was handled couldn't have been any worse (or better, if you wanted to be intentional about it) in terms of social division and damage done. Look at what else the liberals have fucked up;
Churches/Religion. Massive forced closures while pot shops and titty bars are deemed essential and remain open.
Education/Schools. Incalculable damage to at least one generation in terms of their education.
Media. Forget about it, they're all in the bag for liberals/globalists. Zero objectivity there, entirely agenda driven.
Masks ? Symbol of oppression that the public seems to be all too willing to comply with.
Vaccines ? "You're going to get it (for your own good), or we're going to imprison you"...
Election/Fraud/Corruption. What can i say ?
Currency/Coin "shortage". More and more places around here no longer accept cash, only checks/credit cards. Hard move towards digital currency/tracking all individual's purchases.
The list goes on and on and I don't have time to scour more of them up right now.
As far as I'm concerned, NFL management (if you can call it that), should have taken a very hard line in terms of cleaning this shit up when it first got started. Meaning, they should have immediately shown Kaepernick the door and said, "Oh, by the way, anyone else have anything they want to say ?" And, the players should have banded together and let the NFL know that they stood behind them. They didn't do that. Of the percentage that did do something, they also took knees. As a group, they made their choice very clear. And, as a group, I cannot and will not support them.
You are certainly free to choose as you please and I support that. I will not criticize others for those choices, but I will be God Damned if I will choose them.
