You don't understand the big picture. This isn't government. This isn't big media. You have ZERO rights on this site. You are here because Frank lets you stay. Whether you agree or not is inconsequential. If you do not like it, join a forum that lets anything go. Members have to maintain a certain decorum and Frank's rules are what determine it. The door is only a mouse click away.

Not one anti-cop posted here was ever posted to keep those here "informed". The fact is that those posting just wanted to start a fight. You know there is LE here, you know a video, or news article reflecting them in a negative light will releive you of your internet loneliness. Aside from that, it has no relevence to this site. I am sure there is an anti-LE/government/hippie/God/chevy/ford/black/white/jew...or whatever you disagree with site that will give you the attention you want and crave.

I disagree with this.

It is Frank's site. No questions there. I think he would agree that we all contribute and make tis our own, and that without all of us there would be no site. In the end, however, it is his RESPONSIBILITY to see that it operates CLEANLY (thats not really the word I wanted). Hes discovered that Politics and Religon are loaded subjects. To easy for some hothead to go off and make threats against someone and that would call heat down upon the site, and him. So those things are out.

Though I commented on them I dont recall having started any of these threads. Mabey a while back but I got the message and saw this coming. And until an offline conversation with Frank, I had no idea HOW MANY law enforcement guys were here.

I have always <span style="font-style: italic"> tried</span> to have respect for the boys in blue. But when I see things like were posted, and as many as were posted, it begins to make me <span style="color: #CC0000"> FEAR</span> them. I dont really like that. though I think it more widespread than most LEO's here admit, its what a few assholes have done that causes trouble for all. For that reasom I personally think it CRITICALLY IMPORTANT that I/WE stay aware and protect our rights.

I cant speak as to the motives of the ones who posted them. Mabey to inform, mabey to stir up trouble, mabey some of each. I for one welcome the information and felt honored to find it at Snipers Hide, where so many (profess) stand for the rights gauranteed by the constitution. I thought the vidieo of the Canton cop was truly Classic, and apparently so did a lot of others including a lot of our brother boys in blue who condemed it. What I would have hoped to see come out of these postings is a greater awareness by the LEO's here and their dedication to eradicate that type of behavior in their peers. I can give you one especially poignant reason, at least to me. I never took an oath to uphold anythng. I obey the laws because for the most part I think they are good. Not that justice always prevails, but the intent is there. You guys, you LEO's took, I believe, an oath to uphold the constitution, land the laws of the state in which you serve...or something similar. If your honorable, and I believe most of ou are, then if your made aware that your peers are acting this way I should think by the oath you took you would be compelled to correct it.

My reason for expressing my disappoint, Frank, was not in that you banned this, as I did see it coming, and after our conversation understand why, but that so many were against it, and called me and others cop-haters. We're not, at least Im not. We treasure our rights and freedoms,our honor, <span style="font-size: 14pt"> <span style="color: #990000">Above all else. </span>. </span> What could have been used as a tool to help protect our liberties was seen, and granted at times used, by all, as a club.

Too bad: But I guess that like politics and religon, on this site at least, we are, myself included, too immature to handle it wisely.

So Frank made the right decision.

Why are we being so thupid? This is a business. We get something. The owner gets something, most importantly, money from advertising like that friggin Thunder Beast ad in the way right above. No free lunch, remember?

Among many others, LE come here for various reasons like us and incidentally, like us, see these ads and just like a radio station and whatnot, hopefully buy a part, for example, because they saw it on here and on and on and on. Stock goes up, so to speak, LL makes more money, we trade more triggers and brass, lie about groups, post our guns, all that crap. Owner benefits from LE visiting. Business. That's it in a nutshell.

I used to think this was a trading post, and was about helping each other shoot better and for me it is. For most its a marketplace and like any other marketplace its business as usual. Don't upset the apple cart.

Again, LL doesn't owe you shit, and your implication that you will choose to follow the rules exemplifies your stupidity. You don't have a choice, it's his house...your only choice is to go away the same way you came.

I don't have issue with a Cop bashing post, as I believe there's a difference between Cop's an LEO's. The former being un-worthy of being called the latter. I've known a few Cop's, their not hard to spot if you know what your looking for. Some require baiting longer than others, that's all.

A LEO does a stressful, thankless job, w/o wanting a fan club or all the Chest Beating. This site has both, but you mostly hear the Cop's side when that type of thread pops up,... the LEO's just laugh or shake their head, an walk on.

The only feelings i've had are when select couple of officers tried to act all big dick to me when they pull me over, because i'm active duty. (as if the importance of our jobs is some sort of pissing match) Granted its a small case, but its a issue i've had to deal with.

So ultimately, I will just have to bury feelings and ignore them.
