Somewhere in the desert S.W.
Roger Barnett

excerpts:
<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">An Arizona man who has waged a 10-year campaign to stop a flood of illegal immigrants from crossing his property is being sued by 16 Mexican nationals who accuse him of conspiring to violate their civil rights when he stopped them at gunpoint on his ranch on the U.S.-Mexico border.

At one point, it said, Mr. Barnett's dog barked at several of the women and he yelled at them in Spanish, "My dog is hungry and he's hungry for buttocks."

"This is my land. I´m the victim here," Mr. Barnett said. "When someone´s home and loved ones are in jeopardy and the government seemingly can´t do anything about it, I feel justified in taking matters into my own hands. And I always watch my back."</div></div>

Not saying I condone it..... But pretty soon it wouldn't surprise me to start seeing bodies showing up out in the desert or on the ranchers land, the word will trickle south and either the flow will slow or they'll pick another route. Has to be a lone killer though, 2 or more and you'll never keep the secret.

Why the hell is this even making it to a trial??? This is just one of many ways the illegals are screwing over the system, and driving up out taxes.

Does anyone know how to get a hold U.S. District Judge John Roll, so we can all e-mail him and let him know what a dumbass he is being?

IMO the ones to blame in this case are the folks at this Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF). They're the ones that are egregiously representing criminals in a civil case.

Can someone who is not a citizen sue for violating their civil rights? I would think in order to have these rights you would need to be a citizen? Call me crazy. This would be my first issue with this BS.

My second issue would be since it is private property, aren't they infringing on his rights by trespassing?

I doubt Roger Barnett will ever have to pay the illegals, but I can only imagine how much he had to pay his attorneys. Even if he gets a judgment against the illegals, he will never be able to collect it, unfortunately.

I recall a curious element about trespassing; If you don't enforce your property rights and a path or easement is created by trespassers, it by default becomes difficult to enforce when later trying to bar the route many have so frequently taken. I believe it's akin to squatter's "rights"

Something to keep in mind.
