Torso length too small for me on a stock Ilbe main pack, couldnt get the weight on the waist belt with the slider at the top. Im 5'11". Internet search revealed some with same issue but no solutions. The plastic slider has 3" or so of material above where the velcro is sewn on. I trimmed this off with shears in the same truncated cone pattern 3" lower staying well away from the stiching. This adds 3" to the torso length adjustment. You could do the same thing without modding and only have half velcro contact between the slider and shoulder strap velcro which was not to my liking. Fits great! The stock slider edges are covered with material , I assume to avoid wear on the pack and I will find some way to duplicate the edge covering on the newly cut plastic slider edge. YMMV
