    Not Chicago, Illinios
A good friend of mine killed this one recently. I thought the deer hunters may enjoy this one. He dressed 202lbs and we are guessing him to be north of 200 inches gross score. Not bad for public ground!

    Re: Illinios Deer

Illinois is way underated for super whitetail I live in the central part of the state and we have our share of really nice deer. Basiclly the deer have taken over, we have few, if any upland birds anymore and 95% of the hunters are deer hunters, especially the 40 and under age group, they never had the opprtunity to hunt upland game as it was. You can not give a bird dog away in this area. Our deer season starts Oct 1 (bow) and runs intermittantly thru Jan. Shotgun slug only, wish they would allow rifles, we could thin down this vermin population of deer.
