Thanks to a post I saw here on the Hide saying they had powder available. It didn't last long, about 5 minutes after I got my order in, it was all gone. This is for me and my brother for the next 1 to 2 years or so. Ordered on the March 25, Rec'd April 29.

FYI: I think anything over 20 lbs in your house means you have to register with the ATF (ha-fuck-that-ha) so be careful what you say (post) and who you tell it to especially now that you just got that 19 lbs of powder you just got.

Good point! I checked it out, my county requires compliance to the state fire code, as below: (50 pounds is the limit if in a wooden magazine).

11-3.7 Smokeless propellants intended for personal use in quantities
not exceeding 20 lb. (9.1 kg) shall be permitted to be stored in original
containers in residences. Quantities exceeding 20 lb. (9.1 kg), but not
exceeding 50 lb. (22.7 kg), shall be permitted to be stored in residences
where kept in a wooden box or cabinet having walls of at least
1 in. (25.4 mm) nominal thickness.

My only regret is that I was not able to find it all at the same time. $27.50 HazMat x 3 is not as good as just paying it the one time.

On the other hand, I have my maximum allowed by local law of components on hand and loading for the high volume items has already began.

Joe, it is a multi facetted tool. There are many uses and mine are many. Yes indeed it is a puller, in fact this is it's purpose, but I pull other things using it. For bullet pulling that could be great idea, I can see that now, thanks!! It is self lubing too. The lube can be preferred by many as it does evaporate, no need for cleaning a lubed case after a sizing operation. And the lube application of case is really quite easy & as an added bonus you never have to buy more lube. Another benifit is that it is self cleaning, somehow it just cleans itself. It is genius, IMHO. My puller shown in that avatar is actually a top shelf model. There are many other models which can be aquired at a cheaper price, but you get what you pay for. Mine also came with a complimentary matching protective sock thingy, shown in that pic. you can remove it for use or just move it to the side for quick use, whatever. When it wears out after many years of usually reliable use (it tends to go haywire about once a month but you get through that, just don't make plans for its use at those times, funny you can usually predict that too) you just replace it, there is NOT a warrenty like a Michelin tire has none. But yes there are other uses as well, good luck & YMMV.

Fellas I know you are glad you got your powder, hell I am happy for you. Posting what is no one's business on a public forum is not very smart. There are many avenues to track people down on the internet. Do what you want, but I wouldn't tell you how much powder I own, let alone post pics of it on the internet for all to see. There have been threads in the past asking how many bullets, powder, primers, etc one should keep on hand. I was surprised at how many people freely told the world(literally guys, that is what you are doing) the inventory of their gun rooms down to the last primer and Match King. Call me a tin foil hat man if you want. My answer is and always will be, "None of your fucking business".

I know for a fact that any lawyer can jump on to Lexis Nexis, type in their creds, and find out anything about anybody in electronic form. What they own, where they bought it, look at individual receipts, work history, liens, blah blah blah. Someone who represented themselves as a lawyer was auditing my company, our lawyer found out that this person had graduated with a degree, took the bar 3 times and failed 3 times (therefore, not a lawyer) and was in fact representing herself falsely. Point is, this info and more is already out there, and all of it is stored forever and is readily accessible by certain people and of course the various powers that be.

If posting a pic of some powder were possible trouble, what about all the pics of rifles, hunting, etc.? Not something I give a second thought to.

So, shipping and insurance came out to an extra $.85/lb, so if you onle need a little, it is easy to see that getting together with your buddies and family and buying a bunch at a time saves a lot on the shipping fee by spreading the cost over multiple pounds.

They charge Kansas sales tax only for in state shipments or with those states that have an agreement with them. I think CA has figured out to to get their pound of flesh for everything.

RE taxes, not sure, that was on the invoice from a month ago, I haven't looked at the credit card charge, I'll have to look when I get back home.

I'd say the nice thing is, if you can get an order into PV and get the confirmation, eventually, you will receive it! But, it takes constant trolling to find when they have something available.

Yeah totally. But, it was more like a nicely matched set of 22's, in excellent like new condition with a 100% perfect blued finish. Most unfortunately attached to a tax auditor...

PV didn't charge tax on my CC invoice. There was a shipping and handling charge of $19.95, and the Hodgdon reloading guide dropped 1 cent to $0.00.

Grand total to my door was $730.80
