Hello everyone I am getting weird numbers in all of my ballistic apps for the IMI 77grn Razorcores so I’m looking for some answers.

I am shooting them out of a Daniel Defense MK12 18” upper. I have not been able to chrono the speeds so I don’t know my velocity but I have shot them out to 600 to get my DOPE.

When I use a ballistic app and fill in all the data and correct information I am getting conflicting numbers to what my DOPE is.

For example I dial 4.5 MOA for 300 yards and 11.5 for 500 yards. However on all the apps I’ve been using it has me dialing 6.5 for 300 yards and around 13.5 for 500 yards. I’ve tried adjusting my speeds and BC but I can’t get anything to line up, any ideas?

Update: I used the JBM Ballistic Calculator and was able to successfully replicate the data im getting. JBM will be my new go to for all my ballistic calculation needs.

Yeah with AB, my MV has to be calibrated through the app. Thats including turning off Aerodynamic Jump, Spin Drift, etc. However with my 308 its perfect. All the semi-autos Ive shot have had to have the MV calibrated. But my bolt guns have always been on.

Hornady 4DOF has always worked for me given that the bullet is listed in their program.

With the IMI Mk262 my avg MV is 2744 with 16" Rainier Arms Ultramatch, with Saker ASR 556K SD of 13.6, ES of 44 (78* 32%RH, 27.78 inHg) . The ES definitely has equated to a large vertical spread at 900+ yards.

I'm getting around 2800 out of an 18" JP rifle with IMI 77gr. It shoots very well.
My reloads with the same bullet and CFE 223 at 25gr is about 50fps slower but also shoot good.

I ran some out of my 1:7 WOA 18 in SPR barrel yesterday and a 5 shot group over a magneetospeed was as follows

And testing my XBR 8208 77gr TMK Load yielded this
