Let me state the obvious. Requiring a card which shows "health and treatment status" is a HIPPA violation, which is a Crime punishable by both fines , loss of licensure, and jail time. They would have to change the existing HIPPA laws first.

Let us see how other states deal with communicable diseases. California does not require notification from an HIV positive person before they have sex with another person (as that might cause an "emotionally harmful" bias). To be blunt, if untreated, HIV will shorten your life with a certainty (unless you are one of the rare people with natural immunity, which does happen). This seems like a bit of a disconnect from the current view on Covid, which has a very high survivability rate once exposed.

As others have said, once a few cards are printed, I expect there will be a lot of people who will use Photoshop to make their own. To make matters worse, a vaccine only works if it causes your body to produce enduring antibodies. Vaccines do not cause Everyone to develop antibodies. I have had the live smallpox vaccine twice in my life, neither time did I develop the "scarring" which is indicative of an antibody response. After vaccination, the only real test would be to check for the presence of those antibodies. This test would benefit those who have already caught the disease, and got over it (if they already have the antibodies, the vaccine is NOT needed in their cases). As 80 percent of the people who have caught covid showed only mild to NO symptoms at all, there are likely a lot of people out there who are immune, but don't know it. I am actually surprised the Government has not funded an "antibody assay test" on a regional level, just to figure the REAL number on how many people have been exposed.
