Here is a preview of the Databook cover I just finished.

It is sized for the fullsize Impact Databooks, but will work with the Storm Tactical Spiral bound books and possibly the binder type as well.

I added a feature to address an issue I was having on windy days.

All US Made materials and YKK heavy duty zippers.

I don't have pricing done for it. Since this was the first one I finished I have no idea how much time it will take me to actually produce them and how much material I have in it. I will try to knock out a couple more this week and get an idea of where to price them.

If you have any suggestions on the design, let me know.

Count me in for one in OD.

The Impact Binder is 6.5" x 9" x 1.5". As long as your UST book is that size or smaller you will be good to go. If it's MUCH smaller, let me know and I can adjust the size.

What did you have in mind? I am always open to functional improvements. These are hand made, one at a time so little tweaks here and there are not a problem as long as it doesn't require materials I don't have on hand.

Re: Impact Databook Cover

Additional pen slot next to the existing one was all I was hoping for. Im pretty boring.

But, it needs to be sewn with Bertrillium-Zantitium™ stitching.

I'll measure my book when I get home and see what the ole gal comes out to.

The Pen Pocket isn't a problem, but the only unobtanium thread I have right now is Zertrillium-Bantitium™. Will that work?

Maybe we could use one of these for a logo on the cover

Re: Impact Databook Cover

For right now, anyone wanting one can PM me or email me if my PM's fill up (which they have a tendency to do).

8541tactical at gmail dot com.

Make sure you include name address, color and if you want anything else listed on my site. I will reply with a total including shipping and where to send the check.

I know this is cumbersome but I am working on getting a shipping calculator and possibly a shopping cart up on the site. I am trying to save you guys every penny I can on shipping while not making it a nightmare for me.

ETA:

My products page has been updated to reflect the new Databook.

That right there my friends, goes way beyond team spirit-it is a testimony to the caliber of vendors that we enjoy having access to here. For a direct competitor to offer material to another to fill an order for someone blows me away and goes in stark contrast to the way most in the business do business. Karma gentlemen...its always watching.

If it occurs to you, send me a PM when you get ready to, just in case I miss the thread. I'll want one.

Any reason not to have the little shock-cord hold-downs in all 4 corners?

Re: Impact Databook Cover

The tiedowns are 550 cord instead of shock cord. This is for longevity's sake. Shock cord likes to wear out after a few years.

I just did two corners to make it easier to get the pages into or out of. I figure if you are shooting in extremely high wind, just flip the book closed. When you open it back up, the tiedowns will keep your place.

Good point.
