I was fortunate to be recommended The "Precision reloading and Shooting Handbook" by Fred Sinclair and bill Gravett... and even luckier to pick one up used from the 6mmbr forums for less than $20. Not sure when it was printed but mine is the 9th edition.
It has everything you need to know and more

That book has no loads, just the process and equipment.
It is accuracy technique oriented.
By the time I got that book, I had slowly and painfully already learned all those techniques and about that equipment.

I have Ziedikers "Handloading for Competition", "The Benchrest Shootiing Primer", P.O. Ackley's "Handbook(s) for Shooters and Reloaders", Warren Page's "The Accurate Rifle", "The Ultimate in Rifle Accuracy", "Accurizing the Factory Rifle" and the "Precision Shooting Reloading Guide."
They are interesting and all have some scattered bits of meat but it can be hard to find what each of us may need out of the tons of chaff we don't need. BUT, the last, described by nicholst55 above, Precision Shooting's excellant guide book is a treasure, it's a literal banquet of good info! It's NOT useless "chatter", it's all to the point and clearly written in eight segments of reloading by specialists in each area. It's a VERY good book for anyone seeking to better understand the principles and practices of accurate reloading and I highly reccommend it.

I got mine by posting a WTB on the 6mmbr forum.. it's very informative but as CLARK pointed out.. not for newbies to reloading (I just mention that if a newbie reads this post and thinks the Sinclair book is "the one to get")

I've been looking through the old PR&SH, and the only thing I see that a newbie should be shielded from is case weighing, as should the rest of us. Half of the material describes tools, and the other half describes basic practices. <span style="font-style: italic">Need to know</span> may be necessary to security, but it's a lousy practice otherwise. I don't see much value in ignorance.
