Go Watch it. It was a good shoot em up and hell beating movie. Went to the movie grill, ate and drank beer. Its almost 3 hrs long but its good.

Great movie. Can anyone tell me why the nazi officer in the first scene had that huge pipe. (it was bigger than his side arm)

Rented it over the Holidays.
Planned to hate it since I loathe Pitt and everything he stands for.
I thought I would spend the time since I am a fan of most of QT's work.
It was the best movie I saw in '09, bar none.
I was able to overlook Pitt because he is part of an ensamble cast, not the main character.
In addition to all of the film-buff insider stuff, and QT splatter-fest violence, it is interesting fiction, brilliantly acted.
QT loves films and it shows in his film-making.
Deffinitely worth a look.

I heard mixed reviews & finally saw it last weekend. Great movie... In a cinematic sorta way. Dispell all historical aspects and you're okay. The opening scene is superbly done.

I watched it finally. It definately is different for a WWII movie. Liked some of it, thought quite a bit of was just
not worth watching. Overall, I guess I can't ever get those hours of my life back. I just like accurate depictions of the war like Saving Private Ryan or Band of Brothers.

that scene was brilliant. it's that rare type of scene that kinda makes time slow. you don't know whats gonna get thrown at ya, but it's pretty much a foregone conclusion that something bad is going to happen!
one of my favorite things about tarantino is his ability to create several interesting storylines within one film. He makes every scene(and character) memorable, but each in there own way.

Good flick, remiscinent of Reservoir Dogs when the whole crew was getting whacked. I think I may buy the blu ray to watch it again a time or two
