Has anyone had experience with inletting a JAE 700 stock for the Stiller Tac 338 action? I'm just researching alternate options to selling a rifle to replace it with a factory option. I was told by JAE that the stock would need to be inletted by a smith and am wondering if it's worth the hassle at all.

Not something I would really want to do to a JAE,I’ve done it to a hs-p but it was cheap.
