So after the absolute shit show of a review/warning posted last week about Inner Circle Defense I took Danger Close Digital up on his offer and attended their class yesterday to see what all the fuss was about. Being the unapologetic troll that I am I was REALLY hoping to be greeted by this guy.
Much to my disappointment I was not, I however was treated to this pretty early on.
A more gooder view of the gloriousest Christmas sweater ever.
The class started off with a solid and unambiguous safety brief then a one hour intro into some wind calling and ballistics then we checked zero, after checking zero we went to 500 and shot. There were guys pulling targets and one coach for every two shooters. We were shooting paper so I couldn’t see splash but made mental note of every call that my coach made, when the targets came back up the spotters were exactly where my coach had called my shots. We then shot at 800 then 1000 in two relays with good coaching and feedback the whole time. The atmosphere was laid back and we spent the day putting rounds down range and talked amazing amounts of shit, those crayon eaters/Jarheads (sorry Jarheads(not sorry ?)) knew their shit and ran a solid range.
All in all I think this is a very well designed and run intro to long range class, the class was affordable and a one day class will bring more people into our sport. I know that our resident SFOD-Keyboard contingent will be disappointed that I didn’t go full Dirty D, I actually did but pretty much blended right in with some deplorable crayon eaters. ?
