Installing a reticle into binos?

I know you can send leupold your duplex scope and they can put a new reticle into it, does anyone know if any shops will do this for binoculars? Not even sure how it would work with two lenses and all but seeing as steiner does it it must be possible!

Only possible on models produced by companies already offering the model with one. Nobody is going to retrofit a reticle into a random set of binos.

Reticle only on one side anyways. Just like lrf binos

I've been thumping some people recently on getting some binos on the market with GOOD glass and a reticle without outrageous pricing. Threads like this give me more ammo to try to make that happen.

Just take a sharpie and make your own on the objective lens. I wouldn't try to freehand it though. Use a straight edge.

@wigwamitus is running a group buy with some Steiner 7x50 and 8x binoculars that have a milling reticle.

Prices are reasonable for very rugged binos if not the worlds best glass.

I think the reticle is scaled for artillery work but Id think you can get a read for rifle work.

I'd go with spray paint, just mask off what you don't want paint on.

There is a thread on here where the Steiner 750R binos which are usually $1000 are on sale for $ 350 from cameraland.

They are brand new and work great, I'm speaking from experience, I picked up a set.
