If, the folks who want to ban semi auto firearms finally figure it out, A semi auto firearm is by definition, one pull on the trigger equals a bang. What firearm do we never think of that with every pull on the trigger produces a shot without the shooter having to perform any other action is, The Double Action Revolver.

When folks ban stuff they don’t understand, they can really screw the pooch.

They don't care about definitions or mechanisms. They are only interested in ONE goal, the eventual COMPLETE BAN on ALL firearms. They are incrementalizing in order to sneak more and more through without outright triggering organized resistance, ie., boiling the frog. Today, semi-automatics, tomorrow, "sniper rifles", next week, any device that can use gunpowder to propel a projectile...

Yes, many of them are. Way before all this recent gun control began I used to talk with people about shooting and often heard the statement " Guns are bad, I hate guns." They literally hated the object. There was no reasoning with them by saying " Well cars kill people, does that make cars bad? Or a hammer? I can use a pencil to write you a nice note or poke it in your eye.?" The response? "Thats violent, youre violent, then they would just get into a huff and stomp off. So yes, many hate the object.

Its the higher level that know exactly what they're planning.

Their hatred is for the freedom and personal power, not subject to collective control.

I mention these thoughts today not because they give me joy, but rather in the hope that wiser heads can come up with better ways to deal with them.

In blue states (nj) It is taught to kiddys in school from a very early age that guns are bad.....you don’t need a gun......if you need a gun your a fucking wimp......There was time not too long ago when there were shooting clubs in HS even in states like Nj. Today, teachers aggressively enforce no gun material of any kind on tee shirts, hats, back packs and such, in the interest of providing a safe zone for all children. The funny thing is, with kids, when you tell them they can’t have something that tends to make them more determined to get it. The most popular video games involve guns. When firearm education and clubs and the like, is when we saw an uptick in kids shooting schools. kids have no idea what a gun is or can do other than what they see on the video games, they shoot, they die, they get up and do it again and again and again.

Everyone has good points. However, think about it, the control people have no knowledge of what they are saying and what they are doing.

They get rid of Armalite pattern rifles, but they really get rid of just about everything but old style flintlock muzzleloaders. The real masters take our nation because the controllers can’t defend nothing.

When people don’t understand what they are doing, they cannot foresee the consequences of their actions.

There are people who are saying and doing anything to gain power and money for themselves and their friends/family. They are puppets. They would rather be a prince in Hell than a regular person in Heaven.
