I have not done this for competitions of course. Only at 50 yards, and only for group size. I am trying to fit 25 rounds in less than an inch. So far I have a group size of 1.24". When I really have pumped a lot of rounds into the little circle I use as a target, it gets harder and harder to see, and then makes it more difficult to be accurate. So, what I have done is made 1 red dot on a target, and then made 1 more red dots exactly 2" to the right of the other one. Then, I adjust my scope so that when my reticle is dead center on the left dot, the rifle fires dead center on the right dot. I hope you're following me. Basically what that gives me is a new fresh red dot to sight in on every single shot. Might be dumb but I thought it was kinda tricky. Anyone ever hear of this being done before?
