Rifle Scopes Internal travel of S&B 3-20 PM2

Does anyone know the internal travel on the regular S&B 3-20 PM2? The knobs have 26 mil. Is there more in the scope?

I currently have 20 moa cant in the base and am thinking about switching mounts to maximize the amount of elevation available on the knobs.

I asked Jerry R a while back and if memory serves on the regular (non-Ultra Short) 3-20x50 PMII it was 32mils total internal travel, with 26 available on the turrets.

How much can you dial? Do you have all 26mils available after zeroing at 100?

My information would seem suspect if you have it zeroed on a 20MOA mount and yet can still dial all 26 mils in the turret. With 32mils in the scope and the 6 mils on the mount you should only have ~22-ish mils of up dial-able on the elevation turret from zero.

I don’t have it in my hands yet.

My current set up is a G2 razor. I have about 20 Mils I can dial with 28.5 Mils total travel in the scope.

I’m trying to decide on running my current mount or picking up a new mount with 10 or 20 moa cant.

I figure I can get away with another 10 moa and not be close to the extreme end of travel. If another 20 moa was doable it opens up more choices in mounts.

I’ve read the 5-25’s were designed to sit in a 45 moa mount to maximize available travel on the knob. There’s not as much info on the 3-20’s.

Unless you plan on shooting KO2M, with a 20MOA Picatinny rail, you will have more than enough.

I’m trying to stretch a 20” .308 past 1K. Isn’t that pretty close to KO2M?

After zeroing at 100 on a 20 moa base I have 23 Mils left. I have at least 9mils below my zero. I’m running a 34mm high mount.

32 Mils of internal travel seems about right.
