hello hide, my name is jay. first and foremost, thanks for allowing me into this community. i am 22 years of age and a US Army vet of 4 years now relieved of duty. been behind the gun for about 7 years now. looking to break into long range shooting, a very helpful man at an outdoor range in piru, california pointed me to the message board (for the life of me i can't remember his name).

I am in the process of purchasing a rem 700 sps tactical and i am currently looking at this optic being sold by a fellow hide member here. just wondering if this would be a good setup to start as far as bolt guns and optics go? any tips would be greatly appreciated.
