Pitting on a factory Sako barrel? Blasphemy!(The funny part is that the OEM barrel on this TRG22 has pitting and all sorts of other stuff and it’s still a half MOA barrel.)

My recommendation would be to try an MDT adjustable grip. They appear large, but let you position the body of the grip forward and backward, which allows you to get a shorter reach if needed. How is the distance from to grip to the trigger.
I’m a guy w small hands so that is important to me, personally.
I think they take any AR grip (true?) but it does not appear that you can adjust the grip position and I’m not seeing how the front strap of the grip can be moved forward.
Thanks
I don’t know, but I can ask. Usually if parts are done being machined it means they are somewhere between Norway and GCP in Florida.Do you have any info when this will be available?
Thank you. That was exactly what I was thinking of.My recommendation would be to try an MDT adjustable grip. They appear large, but let you position the body of the grip forward and backward, which allows you to get a shorter reach if needed.

Correct, it uses the standard AR grip tang, so any number of different grips will work.Thank you. That was exactly what I was thinking of.
So it is an AR compatible grip on the Vision so the MDT AR version of that grip will mount on a Vision?
The elite (gen 2) comes as AR grip mount, optionally. I have one and agree is excellent. The mdt elite grip sure feels good on that vision chassis. Just fyi. It's not sn ar type grip and is vertical but man it feels like a good grip to me. I have bigger hands and long fingers though so
Its 3.385 to the back of the grip from the triggerHow is the distance from to grip to the trigger.

Im not smashing my finger, never have with this chassis and this is my second oneOne key limitation to using AR grip on bolt guns is the undercuts on the trigger gaurd. As your hand rotates ro vertical, often you will smash your middle finger into the base of the trigger unless there is a relief cut.
MDT elite will let you rotate a bit off vertical, but others like ergo 0 you are forced to move hand down the grip and this can influence your trigger finger/ 90* pull geometry.
Thanks...I was thinking more from trigger shoe to the front strap of the grip as that where my gripper fingers are and that spaces my trigger finger from the shoe. Its 3.385 to the back of the grip from the trigger
Nice. Waiting on the left hand version for my 300 PRC. Been talking with Rick. Good dude. Hope it’s soon!!!Finally got my Vision Chassis for my 300 PRC.

I just asked about the SSG3000 version... I may put a 6CM barrel on there...Timely bump! @GBMaryland is the knuckle only left-side folding?
@samb300 approximately how long is the backorder for the Sako version do you know?
The folding hinge is ambi, you can use it in either direction.Timely bump! @GBMaryland is the knuckle only left-side folding?

In which chassis?What magazines for a 223 Tikka T3??
Its a Varmint without the CTR cutout.
Are these KRG Bravo forends in stock? Will the forends accept the KRG spigot in the front end?
No. The vision forend is longer than the KRG forend so the spigot would interfereAre these KRG Bravo forends in stock? Will the forends accept the KRG spigot in the front end?
Not better or worseIt's better because the KRG spigot's ARCA rail is on a different plane than the full length rail you can install. This provides one continuous ARCA rail.
I probably like the MDT adjustable grip the best, it’s a good balance of girth and ability to adjust front to back.
I really like the ERGO 0 degree grip, feels better in my hand then the hard plastic MDT grip.
Lol..... girth...I probably like the MDT adjustable grip the best, it’s a good balance of girth and ability to adjust front to back.
