Introduction

[Star Lifter]

New to the site, not particularly to weapons. US Army active duty in the 75th. I shoot a Remington 700, with Leupold scope, that I just recently personalized with a little custom paintjob for the fun of it.

More than likely going to lurk around the site as I don't have much to offer. First found the site by looking at some good tips for doing a homemade paint job.

Never said I was a "sniper". Also, "complete it"? It's as complete as I want it to be.

But I read on ar15.com that if you paint your precision rifle it adds weight and therefore helps with recoil

I know plenty of <span style="font-weight: bold">actual</span> snipers with plenty of <span style="font-weight: bold">actually painted</span> rifles... just sayin

Damn, I thought the day you painted your rifle you became an 0321, or Delta or something?

NOT poking at you star lifter. Welcome to the hide, I'm kinda new here too. Tons of good info, there is a link to a "better" Hide search to find threads your looking for. Most anything you would ask has probably been answered on here somewhere, even down to loads that ar working for people shooting from rifles almost exactly like yours. (None are exact of course)

If you cant find the link PM me and ill send it to you. You will get tons of white noise with the regular search engine.
