I've noticed quite a few new members showing up and posting their intros and I was thinking that maybe now would be a good time to make a section dedicated to new member's intros so that way they will be able to see at a glance where to post them. How about it Frank?

not a bad idea, however many intros are usually made in the typical "remington vs. savage, leopold vs. nikon, how do i look through a scope, which way does the shell go in" threads.

needless to say, the mall ninjas usually get weeded out quickly, but maybe a dedicated thread a sticky or two with recommendations on utilizing the search function, etc. and how to proceed, may clean up some of the "clutter" in the regular threads...

Maybe frank can list some scope choices from med-top of the line, that way we dont get the typical newbie question like " Is the counter sniper scopes better than luppies".
Maybe when they 1st join the forums there could be a page with all the info like USE THE SNIPERS HIDE GOOGLE SEARCH OPTION BEFORE YOU POST A QUESTION and WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU RACK UP YOUR 100 POSTS WITHIN A WEEK. After they go through all that they click on a proceed button which brings them to the forums....just a thought.

An intro section would have helped me out a bit.
I posted my intro in the Pit seeing as that's the GD section of the site. Did take a few minutes to check everything out and make sure that was the right section.

-about having new members read a few pages of stuff and then hitting proceed. Must just scroll to the bottom hit whatever button gets te ball rolling. Expecting people to read rules is asking for alot sometimes. It seems this site does a great job of weeding out the bad.
