Rifle Scopes IOR Rings?

I'm planning on buying an IOR 3-18x35 scope soon. I would like to use this on two rifles. Are the IOR rings that come with the scope suitable to swapping the scope between rifles and re-establishing zero?

Do the alloy rings work as well as the steel rings?

While I prefer Seekins rings due to them not having a nut sticking out the side like most others, I'm using the IOR rings that came with my 3-18. I can't see a significant reason to change them out at this point. I move this scope around between rifles perodicaly with no issue.

As far as aluminum vs steel, I'm of the opinion that if you do something severe enough that it damages your aluminum rings then the rings are the least of your problems.
