How's the glass on these binoculars Scott? Typical IOR glass, or do they have something more "economical".

They are not German-made, or Romanian-made. I have the 10x42 new Valdada binos here and I must admit they look good, have nice eyecups (much like the old IOR binos) rubber armor, intergral front caps, locking focus, ED glass, case and strap for a nice price. A reticle version is due in two weeks.

The 8x32 hunter models are a step down, but for free, you can't beat them. I;m sure their will be feedback on these in the next few weeks.

Ordered a SOLO R/T 8X36 TACTICAL MONOCULAR from Scott Monday afternoon and got it Thursday, looks great and will be using it this weekend.

Just ordered the IOR 3-18x50 35mm Tactical scope FFP SH. Talked to Scott a while back on which IOR to get and he suggested this one. Looking forward to getting the free binos too.

I think you will love that scope. I just got one for a customer and the new 2 to 10 FFP for myself. The 3-18 is just simply cutting edge and way nicer than I expected. It will be the next purchase for myself also. I shot the 2-10 the last few days in total shit weather but man, it was super sharp and posi detents... The glass is amazing, I'm spoiled now.

any word on the binos? i wouldnt expect them to be top of the line if LO is giving them away for free, but cant beat a free pair of $250 binos and theyre probably better than the vortexs i current have
